Figment, posters, 1998-2001

The Figment poster was produced as a digital print then later translated into a large Bollywood style painting which was produced in India. The image and text is tongue in cheek and plays with the drama often hammed up in film posters. The film was "brought to you from the depths of her unconscious".

The Bollywood paintings were shown as part of Tomorrow's World, Yesterday's Fever (mental guest's incorporated), Victoria Miro gallery, London, 2001. The digital poster was chosen by Peter Blake to be included in the Royal Academy summer exhibition, London, that he curated in 2001.

There was also a panoramic print made with The Figment at its centre flanked by a tornado. This was the basis for the cover of the catalogue to accompany the Tomorrow's World, Yesterday's Fever exhibitions.
