Pilgrim is a sculpture that is a pair of green rubber boots with wax feet protruding through the uppers. The work was inspired by Abigail's friend Sarah Lucas, setting off alone from the bottom of her Suffolk garden, in her wellington boots, for a 100 mile walk to 'think about things' in 2009. The wax casts were made of Sarah's feet some years earlier.
