These works are sausages with their insides removed. The remaining skins are scraped, stretched out and pinned to a backboard, as one might treat an animal hide.

An edition of 100 was made to contribute to an edition made for the group show, Karaoke World Cup Football, organised by Georg Herald at Portikus, Frankfurt, Germany in 1995. The edition to which all the artists contributed is still available through Portikus.

The works made for this edition are fitted into card boxes. There are a number of other Sausage Pelts pinned to board and framed.

Zoo 1994-2017 at Andrehn Shiptjenko gallery, Stockholm included an original Sausage Pelt from 1994 and also a new edition of 6 Swedish sausages. ( Chipolata 1&2, Salsiccia 1&2, Rosmarin 1&2.)
