Smoking House is an image of a house on fire. The house, before it burnt to the ground, was in Hackney Wick opposite Abigail's studio. This photograph was taken as it smouldered in the summer of 2000 - arson was suspected. Peoples' real lives have a tendency to become ongoing fictions for their curious neighbours. With this in mind the image was treated so that it looked like a model - an unreal occurence.

The framed digital print was shown in 2005, at the Fine Art Society in London.

Smoking Feet is an edition of iris prints onto somerset paper. The image shows a pair of legs in the forest, the body replaced by a plume of smoke.
