ART WORKS
Vertigo, 1995

Vertigo is a sculpture consisting of body parts cast in wax - a head with open mouth in a silent scream and two arms. All are suspended upside down by wires from the ceiling. There are two versions of this work, Red Vertigo and Black Vertigo. They were both made in 1995.

Red Vertigo was first shown in a room of Bloody Wallpaper as part of Abigail's solo exhibition Skin of the Teeth at the ICA, London in 2005.

The body parts are casts of Michael Landy.
